Kat Dominguez

Speech Therapist

Kat has worked for Kidz Therapeze since 2012, first as a Speech Therapy Assistant and now as a Speech-Language Pathology Intern. She graduated with her Masters of Science degree from the University of North Texas. Kat is passionate about working together with the families she serves in order to facilitate a holistic therapy experience. Her goal is to promote the child’s progress effectively and efficiently, while also creating a positive experience that will enrich the lives of her little patients.

Kat’s particular areas of interest include feeding therapy, motor disorders and Autism. She continues to pursue additional training in evidenced based techniques in these areas including PECS training, PROMPT training and Augmentative Communication device training. She also recognizes that the best person to teach her about her patients are their parents and caregivers, and as such she highly values input from families regarding their priorities and insights into the kids.

Kat lives in Austin with her husband and two children. She is originally from Washington, D.C but has settled happily into Central Texas. She is so thankful to have the opportunity to continue her work at Kidz Therapeze which provides rich, play-based, and high specialized therapy to a wonderful community of people.
